Embossed glass, also known as pattern glass or rolled glass, is a flat glass manufactured by a calendering rolling method.
The production of embossed glass by the double-roll method is divided into two processes: semi-continuous calendering and continuous calendering.
The roller is pulled forward to the annealing furnace as the roller rotates. Generally, the surface of the lower roller is embossed and the upper roller is a polishing roller, thus making a patterned glass on one side.
The physical and chemical properties of embossed glass are basically the same as ordinary transparent flat glass.
It is only optically transparent and opaque, which can soften the light, and has a privacy screen and a certain decorative effect.
Patterned glass is suitable for indoor partitions in buildings, bathroom doors and windows, and various occasions where the line of sight needs to be blocked.
