Metal Fabrication
Welding and fabrication has been at the core of the Hexin Machinery business since 2011.
Our workshop for welding and fabrication has an established global reputation for manufacturing equipments operating at high temperatures and in highly corrosive environments, to the highest standards of quality and
stringent levels of dimensional accuracy.
We routinely fabricate materials from basic carbon steels right through to titanium grades, and we have played a pioneering role in the development and welding of alloy materials; notably duplex and super duplex for onshore,
offshore and sub-sea applications for the oil and gas industry.
HEXIN Machinery takes pride in all weldments produced by the most highly skilled welders.
Each welder practices under the ASME Section IX Code to perform the following methods at a high level of precision and accuracy.
The company has compiled a database of more than 1000 welding procedure qualifications spanning more than 70 material grades, including dissimilar combinations.
All procedures are certified by independent third party authorities to international standards including ASME, BS/EN, NORSOK and Stoomwezen
Our library of qualified procedures cover material grades including:
• Carbon Steel Grades
• Chrome Moly
• Austenitic Stainless Steel
• Nickel Alloys
• Super Austenitic Stainless Steel
• Duplex and Super Duplex
• Titanium
• Zirconium
Qingdao Hexin Machinery continuously monitors advancements in welding technology. In order to maximise production, whilst still maintaining highest levels of quality,
we utilise manual and automated welding techniques that provide proven and repeatable high standard results. Welding methods used at HEXIN include:
• Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)
• Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
• Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
• Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
• Submerged Arc Welding (SAW
HEXIN has the following machining capabilities in their facility: pull bar bore, beveling, drilling, turning, keying, and milling.
